THE ZEPPOLE

The Zeppole. This is the pastry for San Giuseppe. I had the name competely wrong in my previous post. The top is a little smashed from the walk home but it was GOOOD. I found out on Sunday there is also a fried version of the Zeppole (the one in the picture is baked) and sometimes they come with a candied cherry on top.
